Inna Nagaytseva is an international watercolor artist, educator, and founder of IN ART Studio and In Art School Online, based in Calgary, Canada. With years of teaching experience both in-person and online, she has guided thousands of students from around the world in discovering the beauty and freedom of watercolor painting.
Known for her expressive style, atmospheric landscapes, seascapes, and loose floral compositions, Inna combines strong technical knowledge with an encouraging and approachable teaching method. Her classes focus not only on watercolor techniques, but also on helping students develop confidence, creativity, and their own artistic voice.
Over the years, Inna has organized and taught hundreds of workshops, retreats, live demonstrations, and online courses for students of all levels — from complete beginners to experienced artists. She regularly hosts international watercolor retreats and workshops across Canada and Europe, bringing together artists from different countries to paint, travel, and learn in inspiring locations.
As the founder of IN ART Studio in Calgary, Inna has built a vibrant creative community where students can explore watercolor and acrylic painting in a welcoming and supportive environment. Through her online school, she continues to reach a global audience with recorded courses, live Zoom classes, feedback sessions, and educational programs focused on landscapes, flowers, cityscapes, and expressive watercolor techniques.
Inna is also the organizer of the International Watercolour Festival in Calgary, a large-scale event bringing together renowned watercolor artists from around the world for workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, and plein air experiences. Her passion for teaching and connecting artists internationally has made her a respected figure within the watercolor community.
